¶ Installation
MeshmerizeOS can be directly installed through the Acksys WaveOS web UI or with WaveManager.
- Download the MeshmerizeOS Factory Image from the link above.
- Follow the instructions in the Acksys user guide for initially connecting to the device.
- In the web UI, go to Tools > Firmware Upgrade.
- Select the MeshmerizeOS Factory Image and continue with “Upload”
- On the next page, confirm the upgrade with the button “Upgrade now”
During the upgrade, the Power/Diag LED will flash red. Do not remove power from the device during the upgrade. The upgrade is complete when the LED changes to green.
¶ Reset
The device can be rebooted with the reset button next to the power supply. A short press of the reset button will trigger a reboot.
Holding the button for at least 5 seconds will trigger a firmware reset. This will revert all configuration changes and bring the device back to the fresh state after installing MeshmerizeOS. The firmware reset can only be triggered while the device is properly booted, indicated by the green Power/Diag LED.
